After a tedious first half of the day, the observers in the balcony were anxious for relief. Cherry Albion stood before the magistrate's echo stopped, already adjusting her tiara. It was a stunning piece she felt well worth the trouble of actually wearing on her head. "Father?"

About In Verona

In Verona is an ongoing story created and illustrated with The Sims 2. It features a blend of premade Sims from the Veronaville neighborhood, their Shakespearean counterparts and cohorts, and a few characters shamelessly nicked from Jane Austen, all twisted into a historical-fantasy melodrama. While details, themes, and flaws from real-world history are included and explored, the story exists in a fictional universe of its own.

The story is not a traditional crossover between multiple works of fiction. It is best enjoyed if you let go of expectations for Jane Austen fanfic, TS2 canon compliance, and/or (heaven forbid!) "historical accuracy". There are many things that In Verona isn't, but I hope it can be enjoyed for what it is.

I have been writing In Verona for over a decade now. Life has often been in the way in recent years, but I continue to work on the story when I can and updates are still coming. Thank you for sticking with the story!
