The Night Before Christmas

December 24th

'Twas the night before Christmas when all through a duchy,
Known for its people who were often quite touchy,
Every pillow hid coins that glistened and gleamed,
A trick to help sleepers control what they dreamed

The people were nestled all snug in their beds,
Hoping their fate would unfold in their heads,
Ladies sans kerchiefs and men without caps,
All settled in for their Christmastide naps,

And once everyone was soundly asleep,
Into them visions of tomorrow did creep

To Mercutio,

To Regan.

To Anne,

 And to Hal,

To Tybalt,

Miranda,

Juliette,

... et al,

Their dreams came in truth, whether pleasure or fright,
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

  1. Woah, that last picture! o_O

How old is Anne? I would have guessed she was probably too old to get pregnant again... but then again, she was quite young when she got married and had her two children, wasn't she?

Trying to figure out if Regan is pregnant in her picture. There looks like there might be a small bump, but it could just be the dress mesh or the way she's standing. And I suppose there's always the possibility of her being pregnant, but not yet visibly.

    Great shots! :D

    1. Yeah, that last one...

Anne is thirty-nine. She was eighteen (barely) when Fitzwilliam was born. She certainly thinks her child-bearing days are far behind her, bleeding or not.

We'll see about Regan. We know that she wants a baby (well, a daughter. Woe betide the hypothetical baby if it dares to be a boy.)

      Glad you liked them!

  2. OH MY GOSH.
So much drama. I love all the foreshadowing...but that last picture certainly has me worried!
I really gasped at the picture of pregnant Anne. Well, the obvious mystery is the identity of the father. Does it have anything to do with her deal with the lady in red? Hmmm.
Now I want to see everyone else's dream! This is going to be an exciting Christmas, for sure.

    1. I would hate to be accused of being anything other than dramatic! Hehehe.

The lady in red would seem like a good suspect at this time. But there would still have to be a father, and Anne's not shown much interest in anyone so far. And you're not the only one gasping over the pregnancy ;)

Most of these are probably a bit further off than Christmas. One of them is at least a year or two off. The last picture is scheduled first though, and for Christmastime. Anne's future is also relatively soon, but not until we find out what the heck is going on in the last ;)

So glad you found it interesting :D

    2. I just looked at Hal's picture more closely. Hmm! Who is that young lady with him? Bottom Summerdream, perhaps? Or is it *gasp* Beatrice Monty?!
Tybalt's picture, too, is intriguing...All those people are bowing to him, in a very official-looking setting, and he looks rather uncomfortable. I bet he never expected that, being a Capulet man and all. Could this be the council? If it is...Oh Consort, you sly dog. :)

    3. Well well, someone is on the ball! I'm impressed :D

I won't say who Hal is romancing, but it was pretty much a given that teenage straight boy would be dreaming about the ladies.

That is definitely the Council chamber, and there are four chairs at the head, so...
