Not an IV update, but this was my submission to Dare #30 at the Maxis_Taste community at Livejournal. It's really more pic-spam than story. The little plotline is factually correct in the Verona-verse. (I did use the Maxis names in the entry in keeping with the community theme.) You can take a peek at it here, at my Livejournal.

I read this over on LJ, and absolutely loved it! I admit to knowing next to nothing about the Veronaville Sims or their family trees at all, but I really loved this insight into Cordelia & Caliban. Your use of CC is fantastic, and you set the scene perfectly.

ReplyDeleteIt still doesn't beat how the Montague and Capulet clans began. Still loving that picture with the 2 pregnant ladies in waiting. It's rather snicker worthy.
That pregnant-duo picture remains one of my favorites even now. And we may one day hear a bit more of what went on between the two families between then and the end of the Dukes to make them so hate each other more than the others.
DeleteIt was really the perfect excuse to revive all the dead relatives and dress everyone up in even fancier clothes than normal. Said fancy clothes would have been wasted if I'd only pictured the bride coming down the aisle ;)
